Shipping
In most cases your order will be shipped VIA Canada Post. We will make every
effort to ship from stock items within 2-3 days of receiving your order. We
may be able to process sooner. At any given time, approximately 80 % of the
items in our online store are available for shipment with-in the 2-3 days. We
may however have to back order an item. Most back ordered items are shipped
within 2-4 weeks. Some highly specialized items take longer due to limited availability
and/or production (please e-mail for availability). If the product that you
order has the ability to be placed into a small envelope then shipping cost
will be very little; generally under $2.00. If your product/products are in
the parcel category then shipping is generally $6.00 - $8.00. You will always
be aware when you "check-out," what your shipping is unless your location
is remote. Canada Post charges increased postage on shipments to northern areas
of provinces and other remote locations. Where these extra charges are in effect,
we will add a surcharge to your invoice. You will be advised of the surcharge.
Prices and Specifications
The specifications and prices of our merchandise may change without notice.
Manufacturers occasionally change or update their products and pricing, beyond
our control. We will always hold prices as long as we are able. Although we
always strive for perfection, unfortunately, changes in specifications and errors
in prices do occur. We will try to alert you to any changes when you place your
order.
Damaged Goods and Packages
Damaged packages and shortages must be reported immediately (no more than 24
hours) upon receipt of goods. Delivery time will be verified through Canada
Post/courier and other tracking systems. Our shipping staff are professionals
in correctly packaging products and have done everything possible to properly
package your shipment. We, however, do not have control over Canada Post/couriers
handling of the merchandise. If you receive a package that has been damaged
on the outside of the package or the package appears to be opened and/or resealed
and you find damaged or missing products, please report the damage immediately
to your carrier. He/She will give you the claim instructions. Please keep all
packaging, cartons, and wrap if you have damaged/missing goods. You will need
these for your claim.
Returns
Returns must be made within 30 days of sale and be in the original packaging
in new condition. Products must have all original blank warranty cards, instruction
booklets, packing inserts, plastic bags that originally came with the products.
Products that are in hard plastic packs or blister cases/packs that have been
opened will not be accepted for a return. Shipping and handling fees, if applicable,
are not refundable unless we are responsible for shipping errors. There are
no returns unless you receive prior authorization (RAN). All returns are subject
to a 10%, $10.00 minimum. If the shipment or product that you receive is a mistake
of PoliceFireAmbulance.com the 10%, $10.00 minimum may be waived. To receive
a (RAN) Return Authorization Number please e-mail us at info@PoliceFireAmbulance.com
and advise the reason for the return. Customer is responsible for shipping charges
back to PoliceFireAmbulance.com. Please allow 2-4 weeks for credit to your account.
For replacements, you will need to place a new order.
Canadian Taxes and Exemptions
All Canadian orders are subject to the 5% GST, except for orders to Newfoundland,
Nova Scotia, and New Brunswick. For these provinces the 13% HST will be added.
Orders to Ontario are subject to 8% PST or Retail Sales Tax. Orders outside
Canada are not subject to Canadian sale taxes although customers will be responsible
for all customs duties and taxes where applicable in their own state/country.Orders
to be shipped tax-exempt must have exempt status. They must be accompanied by
Band Name and Family Number (Band Number). They must be shipped to a First Nation
Reserve. Please photocopy your card/photo and fax it to PoliceFireAmbulance.com
@ 705-760-9542 or mail it to us. Please ensure that it is light enough to fax
so that it may be read upon being received. This will be kept on file for future
purchases and government laws.
Payment Options
We accept VISA, MasterCard, cheques and money orders. You can order through
our online store or send us an e-mail with your order and then mail us a cheque/money
order payable to PoliceFireAmbulance.com. Upon the cheque/money order clearing,
your products will be shipped. NSF Cheques have a $25.00 charge. You may call
your order in Monday to Friday 9AM-5PM (E.S.T.) numbers are 888-EMERG-45 (363-7445)
or if you are outside of Canada call 705-875-1590. You may also fax your order
to 705-760-9542. You may leave your VISA, MasterCard number on the
fax).
Privacy Statement
We do not sell, trade, lend, or misuse any of the information you provide to
us. Your information is held in strict confidence. We keep information regarding
orders, to meet the requirements of the government. PoliceFireAmbulance.com
holds your information securely unless required to be disclosed by law. Information/orders
on the internet is sent through an SSL certificate owned by PoliceFireAmbulance.com.
Liability Statement
Having no control over the use of any product once in the buyer's possession,
we assume no liability associated with their use. Under no circumstances is
PoliceFireAmbulance.com liable for any loss, damage, or expenses of any kind
arising out of the use/misuse or inability to use, these products, or the suitability
of use for any particular task. Seller hereby expressly disclaims all warranties
either expressed or implied warranty of merchantability or fitness for a particular
purpose. This disclaimer by the seller in no way affects the terms of the manufacturer's
warranty if any. Title to items herein being purchased is retained by the seller
until the purchaser pays for the goods and only at that time does the title
pass to the purchaser. If items herein are being purchased for purposes of export,
purchaser must obtain from the Federal Government certain export documentation
before shipping to a foreign country. In addition, manufacturer's warranties
for exported items may vary or even be rendered void. If you have any questions,
please inquire. Any and all liability is only for the products purchased.
Typographical Errors
In the event that a product is listed at an incorrect price due to typographical
error or error in pricing information, we shall have the right to refuse or
cancel any such order, whether or not the order has been confirmed and your
credit card charged. A credit shall be issued immediately to your credit card
account for the amount charged in the incorrectly priced order. |
